About OTASEC
OTASEC, OT Asset Security, collects operational-technology and industrial-control-system security news in one place, for the people who own, run and protect industrial assets.
How it works
- Collect. Every hour OTASEC reads dedicated OT/ICS outlets, vendor and government advisories, and the broader security press.
- Filter and tag. Claude, Anthropic's AI model, checks each item for a real OT/ICS or critical-infrastructure angle and tags it by type (advisory, incident, regulation…), sector and vendor. It also writes a one-line summary in English and Dutch. General IT news without an industrial angle is left out.
- Brief. Every morning the day's stories are clustered. The ones covered by the most independent sources lead the briefing, each with a short summary, a practical takeaway for asset owners and links to every source.
Editorial safeguards
- Every link points to an article that was actually fetched. The AI can't add links of its own.
- Summaries are machine-generated from each source's own title and excerpt. Always read the original before acting, especially on advisories.
- OTASEC republishes no full articles. It links to them.
